MOMS on a Mission for our children’s success, growth, and well-being

In June 2015, twenty-four members were recognized as the Western Massachusetts Provisional Group serving Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester counties. The members agreed that the group would be called the Western Massachusetts Provisional Group MOM (Moms on a Mission).

On November 19, 2016, National Vice President Danielle Brown and Eastern Region Director Mondi Kumbula-Fraser performed the chapter chartering. The Western Massachusetts Provisional Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. was officially installed as the Western Massachusetts Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. with twenty-one charter members: Sharie Adams, Michele Alston, Michelle Barnett, Donna Chaires-Smith, Alesia H. Days, Sheree Denson, Lisa J. Green, Renay R. Hill, Yolanda D. Johnson, Candace F. Jones, Carla J. Lee, Jacquelyn Lee-Washington, Rhonda Lewis, Julie Maxey, Patricia Polite, Terry Powe, Sharon Robinson, Jamina M. Scippio-McFadden, Kelly Watkins, Pamela Westmoreland, and Eleanor P. Williams. There were also mothers from the Hartford and Newton chapters present.

The ceremony was held at the UMass Center at Springfield, followed by a celebratory luncheon at the Springfield Sheraton. The children, teens, and fathers also participated in the installation ceremony and luncheon. Additionally, several members of the former Springfield Chapter were among the guests at the luncheon.
